Driven by a lifelong passion for boating, Craig Tallberg founded Coastal Carolina Yacht
Sales (CCYS) following a successful career in the automotive industry. After selling his car dealership and relocating to Hilton Head Island, Craig launched CCYS in 2002. His journey began years earlier in 1986, when he purchased his very first Tiara Yacht—a brand he admired so much that it became the flagship offering of his new business. As Craig built a stellar reputation serving boating communities across Hilton Head, Wexford, Windmill Harbor, Harbor Town, and Shelter Cove, he expanded his lineup to
include Pursuit, Back Cove, and Sabre Yachts.
To better serve a growing clientele, CCYS relocated to a more central location in Charleston in 2003. Another major milestone came in 2023 with the acquisition of Duncan’s Boats, which added a fully equipped boatyard and service department to significantly enhance the dealership’s operational capabilities. Today, Coastal Carolina Yacht Sales covers an extensive territory spanning from North Carolina to the Georgia/Florida border. They are proud authorized dealers for an elite roster of 100% American-built brands: Back Cove, Mag Bay, MJM, Pursuit, Regal, Sabre, and Tiara Yachts.
