David Slayden

David Slayden has 18 years of experience under his belt; David is our resident expert on all thing’s propulsion. He’s fully certified on Mercruiser, Mercury, and Yamaha outboard engines, meaning there isn’t much on the water he hasn’t seen (or fixed).   Whether it’s a complex diagnostic or a routine tune-up, he’s the guy you want ensuring your boat is ocean-ready and reliable.  When he’s not turning wrenches at the dealership, you’ll likely find him… well, still turning wrenches. He’s an avid tool collector who’s always looking for that next specialized piece for his toolbox. If he manages to step away from the workbench, he’s usually heading straight for the great outdoors to recharge.
